Guy Harvey Outpost plans to inaugurate a new holiday tradition in Bimini to precede the island's traditional New Year's Junkanoo celebration. The Bimini Big Game Club will host the first annual Bimini Boat Parade andPool Party on New Year¹s Eve.

The parade will start at 7:30 p.m. from the club's docks. Boats will sail north past Alice Town, up through Porgey Bay and then down to the tip of south Bimini, returning to the Club docks for a New Year's Eve party.

There's no cost to join in and the parade is open to anyone with a boat, big or small, resident or visitor.

Seventy-five VIP tickets have been set aside for those wishing to join Grand Marshall Charles "Sofely" Robins, tourism manager for Bimini, aboard the lead boat for music, dancing and open bar.
