Federal prosecutors are seeking the forfeiture of several items made of ivory products and of an elephant’s foot that were found last summer aboard M/Y Betty, according to a story by the Associated Press.
The vessel's owner has not been charged with any crime. Prosecutors filed court documents in early January seeking seizure of the items.
